You can test if your NAS is answering (ie Port-Forwarding in place) if you use the - Open Port Check Tool against your non-standard Ports. Im convinced its getting passed the draytek and this is something with the QNAP. Same with the port 70 (https) Yet done from the WAN the connection simply times out. If i telnet port 88 (http port setup for WEBUI) from LAN the putty session gets connected then kicked instantly. Ive changed the QNAP IP's and change the PForwarding accordingly to test, I've checked and tested the DHCP manually assigning and auto assigning the qnap WAN's IP and gateway. I suspect fixing this will fix my PLEX issue which is obviously the main concern. Can anyone suggest anything here? Im assuming this all might result in something ive done and working in this industrying i understand that 98.9% of the time it is the user at fault but im struggling to understand why I cannot connect to the WEBUI from the WAN. I can ssh into the box from WAN with a simple port forward setup on the draytek but no WEBUI. No joy From LAN all ports are perfectly accessible and WEBUI and PLEX works fine. All ports are forwarded correctly on the draytek I've rules setup for 2 sets of ports one to each WAN for testing purposes. I then tried to connect to the WEBUI from the WAN (which was working perfectly fine from work) and noticed this was not connecting either. I didn't notice initially until i tried to get a plex client working from WAN which just will not connect/see my QNAP. I had all this working then one day after an update I believe things have stopped working. TS-251 - QTS 4.1.3 Any other ports the website reports they are closed and times out. Canyouseeme confirms the ports are open and forwarded. ![]() Hi, I didn't want to end up writing this but ive run out of ideas.
